One of the most important elements of all photography is the relationship between the subject (you) and the photographer (hopefully me !!!). I truly believe that if the photographer injects a little humour and fun whilst demonstrating the skills required to achieve your desired results the outcome will always exceed expectations.So you may want to know a little bit about who I am and why you should want to trust and work with me.

So here goes, my name is Daryl John Ridgley, I am qualified in Art & Photography from Aylesbury College. I am a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and a British Professional Photographers Associate. I am also a member of the 'Federation of Small Businesses'. That's the boring bit!

I live in a small village called Chinnor in South Oxfordshire, and as such, I am centrally located for all areas in the south. Distance has never been a barrier. I have a five year old daughter, Caithlynn Genna, who seems to enjoy being photographed and is a great test for new ideas. She may even be a great photographer herself one day. Outside of photography I love singing and have recently joined a band and I love sport of all kinds. My other hobby is humour, and I'm always up for a laugh, at the right time of course.

So a little bit about how I work. I am now exclusively digital and always carry at least two camera's in case of a failure. I use Fujifilm Finepix S2 Pro and Nikon camera's. I find that Digital Imaging and continual development of new software products gives me so much flexibility and allows me to deliver what my customers are looking for.

I always work in a style that is dictated by you, the customer. However, if a client allows me to work freely you will see my style is very informal and even in group situations, it is very much portrait based.

There isn't much more to tell, I just hope we get on well when we work together.
